    Vancouver BC dentist, Dr. Victoria Wong, graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia in 1995. Upon graduating, she, together with her husband, Dr. Mike Chen, became practice owners and founders of Brush Dental Clinic, which currently has 2 locations in East Vancouver.

    She enjoys the artistry of dentistry, offering smile enhancement to patients through Invisalign, conventional braces, restorative dental care and dentures. She participates in study clubs and courses with a focus on cosmetic dental care.

    Her hobbies and interests include building design and construction, photography, yoga, swimming, travelling, and shopping. She is also a mother of two lovely daughters.

    Dr Sharon Shao

    General Dentist

    Dr. Sharon Shao grew up in Vancouver and graduated from the University of British Columbia Faculty of Dentistry. During her time at dental school, she participated in a number of dental volunteer trips and oral surgery externships in New York City. Upon graduation, she practiced general dentistry and provided much needed dental care in underserved communities in Saskatchewan. Having worked with many patients suffering from pain, tooth decay and fear of dentistry, she has developed a very gentle touch and believes that every patient deserves a great smile, pain free!

    After three frigid winters, she relocated back to Vancouver with her husband and two young daughters. Dr. Sharon enjoys all aspects of family dentistry and is a firm believer in educating and empowering patients in achieving optimal oral health. She is passionate in the areas of cosmetic dentistry and restoring facial esthetics and reducing jaw pain with Botox.

    Outside of work, Dr. Sharon can be found in yoga studios, trying out new sushi restaurants or driving her children to skating club practices.

    General Dentist

    After growing up in Vancouver, Dr. Jimmy Chow moved to Toronto to pursue degrees in Kinesiology and Psychology at York University. He also attained a certification in Fitness and Exercise Assessment.

    Dr. Chow then attended the University of Toronto School of Dentistry and graduated with honors.

    Following dental school, Dr. Chow completed a residency in the Education in General Dentistry program at the University of California – San Francisco (UCSF).

    There, he learned techniques in dentistry and treated many medical and physical cases.

    Dr. Chow maintains a caring, humorous, and professional demeanour. He hopes to be able to treat each patient as if they were family members. Dr. Chow is trained in all aspects of general dentistry but especially enjoys cosmetic dental care and endodontics. He is also an active member of numerous dental associations.

  • Dr. Amr Farrag, Dentist in Brush Dental Clinic - Renfrew - Portrait Photo

    Dr Amr Farrag

    Prosthodontist

    Dr. Amr Farrag is a prosthodontist with over 20 years of experience, recognized for his expertise in advanced dental care and his commitment to patient care, education, and research. He graduated with honours in 2006 and began his career by combining clinical practice with an academic role.

    After relocating to Canada, Dr. Farrag successfully completed the Canadian equivalency process and obtained his dental license in British Columbia. He went on to earn a Master's degree and a Diploma in Prosthodontics from the University of British Columbia (UBC), where he now serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor, mentoring the next generation of dentists. Dr. Farrag is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and is affiliated with the BC Cancer Agency.

    His commitment to research and innovation has been recognized through several prestigious awards, including:

    • Association of Prosthodontics of Canada Award for Academic Achievement (2022)

    • American College of Prosthodontics Education Foundation Research Fellowship Grant (2023)

    • Dr. Christopher Wyatt Graduate Award in Dentistry (2024)

    • Faculty of Dentistry Graduate Award (2024)

    With a strong background in advanced dental care, teaching, and research, Dr. Farrag is dedicated to providing his patients with the highest standard of care. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Farrag enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
