Christa - Dental Receptionist

Christa is our office manager and has been with Brush Dental for over five years. She was born and raised in Vancouver and now resides in Port Coquitlam. Before joining the team, she worked with children, youth and specials needs. That is why she is also the office therapist. Christa is exceptional at what she does because of her positive attitude and enthusiasm for the dentistry we provide. She strives for excellence in customer service and office skills and continues to upgrade her knowledge of the latest innovations in dentistry through numerous dental education courses. Christa has two children and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her interests include outdoor activities, going to movies, shopping and travel. 

Betty - Dental Receptionist

Betty is responsible for keeping the office in order at the Victoria Drive location. Being connected with the patients and encouraging them towards better oral care is an important part of her job. She has guided the transformation of the office from its former 50's digs to the now new and improved version. She also has an artistic flare, having experience with designing greeting cards, applying theatrical make-up and coordinating special events but her greatest passion is painting with watercolor.

 Wendy - Dental receptionist

Wendy was born in Hong Kong and moved to Canada at age twelve. She is a computer wizard, an efficient worker, and a super fast typer. Not only does she coordinate treatment and make a very complex schedule work for everyone, she helps keep the accounts at both offices in order and makes sure the insurance companies are behaving as well. She is also fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. In her spare time she likes facebooking, snowboarding, and beauty sleeping. She is a fashionista, a foodie and a devoted mother to dd, Hilary.

Nina - Registered Dental Hygienist

Nina received her Bachelor of Dental Science Degree in Dental Hygiene at the University of British Columbia. She joined Brush Dental in 2001 and currently practices at the Renfrew location while also operating an Italian foods business with her sister.

Nina considers the comfort and health of her patients as her first priority, while focusing on preventive dental therapy. Nina's professional affiliations include being a member of the BC Dental Hygienists Association, the College of Dental Hygienists of BC, and the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association. In her spare time Nina enjoys cooking and spending time with her family. Nina is also fluent in Italian, Ciao!

Pamela - Registered Dental Hygienist

Pamela received her training from the Regency Dental Hygiene Academy in Toronto. Growing up in Vancouver, she was a graduate of the International Baccalaureate program at Churchill. She also holds an ARCT diploma in Piano. She is fluent Cantonese and has some working knowledge of  Mandarin. In her spare time she enjoys golf, yoga and cooking. She is also a jet setter, having numerous vacations mapped out in her calender every year.

Jen - Registered Dental Hygienist

Jen was born and raised in Surrey BC, coming from a large family with Croatian roots. She received her dental Hygiene Diploma in Prince George and has been living and practicing in Vancouver for over nine years. She is inspired by bakeries, interior design, yoga and hiking. She travels at any chance to her favorite spots, those being Europe and India. Her dental philosophy is to empower her patients with knowledge so they will care for their oral health general well-being.

Erin - Registered Dental Hygienist

Erin grew up in Chilliwack. Attended UBC right out of highschool exploring her interest in sustainable living, ecology and environmental biology. She then went to John Abbott College for 3 years, graduating in 2007 as a registered restorative dental hygienist. Currently living in West Vancouver with interests in gardening, biking and just kicking back with family and friends. 

Michelle - Certified Dental Assistant

Michelle was born and raised in Burnaby BC, and is our clinic CDA. She has gained experience in all aspects of general dentistry and has received additional training and certification in both orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. Having asssisted both Dr. Wong and Dr. Chen for the last thirteen years, she falls nothing short of being their right hand "man". Striving to provide quality care, she will extend herself to patients, providing information regarding treatment or treatment options. She is also in charge of the office supplies and purchases, a position she holds because of her incredible skills as a negotiator. In her spare time she enjoys jogging, hiking, shopping and spending time with family.

Betty - Certified Dental Assistant

Betty has numerous years of experience as a certified dental assistant in all the recognized specialties in dentistry. Always in pursuit of excellence and learning new things, she is not afraid of a challenge. She comes from a large and growing, supportive family network which she treasures and devotes a lot of her time towards. She loves reading, walking on the beach and baking. Believing strongly in the power of positive thinking and the power of the smile, Betty truly enjoys helping others and giving back.

Tuana - Certified Dental Assistant

Tuana was born and raised in New Brunswick. She  moved to Vancouver a few years ago to experience the west coast life. She is a highly skilled assistant especially in the field of periodontal and implant surgery. She is a workaholic, a fitness fanatic and a dog lover. She also enjoys five star resorts in tropical places.
